Dell introduces its first monitor with mini-LED technology and it is called UltraSharp 32 HDR PremiereColor, here is its specs and price. Mini-LED technology is one of the most promising and viable in the short term for all types of monitors. It combines the best features of LED and OLED panels, although its implementation is not so easy. The company claims to have the first product to have this technology, the UltraSharp 32 HDR PremiereColor has a mini-LED panel built in and targets the professional sector.

Dell has introduced a series of new products, the most interesting one is probably the new mini-led monitor. They say it is the first 4K monitor for the professional sector that reaches 2,000 zones of attenuation with mini-LED backlighting.

Dell UltraSharp 32 HDR PremiereColor specs and features

The monitor, as we have seen, has a 32” diagonal and 4K maximum resolution. The mini-LEDs allow it to have a high dynamic range by placing essentially more LEDs in the same space compared to what you get a traditional LED or OLED panel. Dell also highlights its high brightness, which reaches up to 1,000 cd/m2.

UltraSharp 32 HDR achieves more powerful contrasts and purer blacks thanks to the attenuation zones. Dell indicates that the monitor offers a uniform and accurate color reproduction over the entire surface. Something that an ordinary user might not notice, but for a professional video or photo editor will.

As with this type of non-basic consumer monitor, it includes a set of color calibration tools within the monitor itself so it is not dependent on a computer or other external devices. It comes with a built-in Calman calorimeter and it supports 99.8% DCI-P3 color space and 93% Adobe RGB.

Dell UltraSharp 32 HDR PremiereColor price

It is designed for the professional sector and its price is expensive as expected. The new Dell UltraSharp 32 HDR PremiereColor comes with a $4,999 price tag.
