Once you are in the profile, click on the edit profile option that you will see just below your description.
Once you are in, you will see a field with a “username” caption. Tap on the field, delete the current username and write the one you want to use.
If the username you have chosen is available, you will see a green symbol on the right indicating that you can use it. If it is not available, a negative symbol will appear that will indicate that you have to find another one to be able to change instagram username.
