More budget tablets from Huawei with HMS are coming and the specs of the latest two (MatePad T10 and T10s) appeared.

Huawei seems like they want to accumulate all tablets in one MatePad family, because they already have the high-end MatePad Pro, as well as the very cheap MatePad T8. Soon these will be joined by the equally affordable Huawei MatePad T10 and Huawei MatePad T10s.

  • Huawei delivers EMUI 10.1 update to 36 Huawei and Honor models
  • Huawei will introduce Kirin 985 processor with Honor 30
  • Huawei wants Google to add its apps to AppGallery like with Apple

The mentioned Huawei MatePad T8 is at just 649 USD, although at the same time the technical specs are adequate to the amount that you have to pay for this equipment.

The upcoming Huawei MatePad T10 tablets will also not have particularly well-balanced parameters, so you can expect that their prices will also be set at a very affordable level for all customers, even those with a very limited budget.

The basic version of the tablet will be equipped (despite the “10” in the name) with a 9.7-inch display and a 16:10 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. In addition, it will offer 2GB RAM and – depending on the version – 16GB or 32GB of built-in memory with the possibility of expansion using a card in microSD format with a maximum capacity of 512GB.

The heart of this tablet is to be quite an efficient, octa-core (4x ARM Cortex-A73 2.0 GHz + 4x ARM Cortex-A53 1.7GHz) HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor. In addition, the list of device parameters will include a 5MP camera on the back and 2MP on the front, as well as a notification LED, FM radio, two speakers, a 5100mAh battery, charged via USB-C (with USB OTG support) and 3.5mm headphone connector.

A version with LTE modem will also be available for sale, which will additionally offer GNSS (GPS, Glonass, Beidou, A-GPS). The tablet is to work under the control of Android 10 with the interface EMUI 10.1 and AppGallery. In addition, the dimensions and weight of the device are also known: 240.2x159x7.85 mm and 450 grams respectively.

Contrary to appearances, this tablet will be quite different from the basic version. In his case, the specification includes a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, sound tuned by the Harman Kardon brand and configurations of 2GB / 32GB and 3GB / 64GB.

Therefore, it will be an offer for users with slightly higher requirements for the tablet, and at the same time who can spend a bit more money on purchasing such equipment. The other parameters are, however, identical to the basic version, including dimensions, because despite the larger screen, the screen-to-body ratio is higher in the version with the letter “s” in the name.

Though, the release date of the new Huawei tablets are not known yet.
