Team Xecuter, a console hacking group’s homebrew solution is soon coming for all Nintendo Switch & Lite models.

For running homebrew apps and doing else on Nintendo Switch

The group announced on a blog post that they will start getting preorders for their SX Core/Lite solution and will start shipping review/test units soon.

What is SX Core and SX Lite?

The hardware mods SX Core and SX Lite can be used for Switch units and Switch Lite. You can then use homebrew apps and sysmodules which are similar to plugins.

Team Xecuter planned to launch these earlier, but changes and coronavirus pandemic resulted in some delay and that being said, the designs for review samples are now finished. After tests, the designs will be finalized and production will start. But since China is getting its production facilities back these days, it might take some time for them to adapt, so we can expect a public release in Q3.

Features of SX Core and SX Lite

– SX Core and SX Lite will have an SX OS license.
– SX Core and SX Lite are expected to cost around $30.
– There will be a CFW support.
– Other CFWs like Atmosphere may also work with SX Core and Lite.
