Waiting for the long-awaited dark mode in WhatsApp has come to an end for Android users now. In the latest beta version, users can now adjust the messenger’s color settings in a variety of ways using their own menu item.
There is hardly anything new that WhatsApp users have been waiting for as long as Dark Mode. Several Google apps already have the mode, Instagram has also recently followed suit – now apparently WhatsApp is there too.
Smaller and larger references to the introduction of dark mode have long been found in the instant messaging app but now its finalized, at least for the beta version. Now the developers have released the latest Android 2.20.13 beta, in which dark mode can be activated according to a report from WABeta.
Release date
The basis for the dark mode in WhatsApp is now there in the beta version; but until further notice, however, it remains reserved for the users of the beta version only. We can only hope that the final version will be released after the final adjustments. When exactly WhatsApp will publish the Dark Mode for all users, is not yet predictable.
