Samsung has patented the design of a protective case for its future smartphone Galaxy Note 20.
Just like Galaxy Note 10 family
The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ models debuted with a vertically oriented multi-module camera and without a 3.5mm headphone jack. And recently, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite came out, which received a rear camera in the form of a block of almost square shape and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Galaxy Note 20 design features
On 19 November 2019, Samsung Electronics filed a design patent for a case for mobile telephone with the IPI (International Property India). The patent was published on 10 January 2020. The description is very brief and only one image is included.
The patented case which was designed for the Galaxy Note 20 family, indicates features with its cutouts. If you look at the bottom, you can see the hole for the S Pen slot and a cutout for the symmetric USB Type-C port. Also, there is no hole for a 3.5mm jack.
A rather large rectangular cutout for a multi-module camera is provided at the back. It can combine five sensors and a flash, or four sensors, a flash and an optional microphone.
Slots for physical control buttons are provided in the right side.
Release date
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is expected to be released in August this year.
